After a few years break from playing on the astro turf at BBH, HFLFC returned to play the experienced BBH vets team. With 18 members of the squad unavailable, two of our slightly younger members, Tom Redman (goalie) and Dan Evershed, stepped up to help us out helped us out, which was agreed with the opposition ahead of the game.
Rob Flynn opened up the scoring after 25 minutes when the BBH keeper handled the ball outside the box. It was a great free kick.
1-0 at halftime but BBH equalised 5 mins after the break. BBH then scored again before Rob Flynn made it 2-2 with a neat finish. BBH went on to win the game 4-2.
Man of the match was Tom Redman who was outstanding in goal.
Players making their debut for Hills Farm Lane were Dan Creasey, Warren Higgins and Gareth Fox who all put in a good shift.
