Fantastic Christmas lunch on Tuesday 18th December at The Holbrook Club! 35 of us were able to get together, from the petanque, Men’s Shed and Walking football divisions. The food was great – tasty and loads of it, and everyone seemed to have a lovely time. Karen won the raffle hamper while Leki won the Heads and Tails game – neither of them requiring any skill whatsoever!! What did require skill though, was navigating through the Christmas Quiz which was won by Philip and team. The prize was a tub of chocolates but the condition of winning was that it was shared around for everyone! A few speeches and well deserved tokens of appreciation, and we all look forward to 2019! Onward and upward!! We missed those who were not able to join us. Maybe next year!
