Have a look at the stages of development of the 9-a-side pitch we have built at one end of the site. This is a project which has required long-term vision and patience! Starting from an area of dense undergrowth, virtually no drainage on the heavy clay soil, and a horribly uneven, sloping surface, we have created something which, buy the start of the 2018-19 football season should be ready for a local team to take on for purposes of training and regular 9-a-side matches. Well done and thank you to everyone who has helped to make this dream a reality!
Photos below show the story of the development from start in the Spring of 2016 to Autumn 2017 when it is looking very promising. One more year to settle, let the grass establish etc, and it will be ready for our local juniors to use.
