A brave team of our walking footballers put themselves forward for the FA People's Cup Walking Football division. On a sunny, but cold Saturday 24th March, the team played 4 matches. "We realised that in these competitions the definition of "walking" is perhaps a little looser than we had thought, and while we didn't triumph in any of the matches, we put up a good fight and had a great time!" said Richard.
Murph scored a fantastic goal which gave him a lot of satisfaction ahead of his veterans team's triumph vs FC Zimmer the next day (which puts our Vets HFL team top of the table).
