We are pleased to announce that the Shipley Men’s Shed will be open on Wednesdays as well as Tuesdays, starting on 21st March. There are all sorts of things going on, and, as everyone has a different level of expertise in working with wood and we have projects to suit everyone. New comers are made extremely welcome – whether they want to get involved in one of the projects, do their own project, or just come along and enjoy socialising.
Current projects underway or nearing completion are double bin box for the site entrance, raised plant and vegetable troughs, base boards for Horsham Model Railway Club, bird houses, shoe boxes, tool boxes, and the men have also constructed for themselves a couple of saw horses and trestles so they can erect a work surface outside the shed as the weather continues to improve.
