On Bank Holiday Monday at the end of May our Men’s Shed showed off it’s wares at the annual Shipley Village Day. We had a wonderful stall demonstrating the various products that the team have been able to produce over the last few months and they were successful in selling a number of toys, artistic lamps, bird and bat boxes, wine carriers and a host of other items – which brought in over £300 for the cause! Importantly we were also able to attract new members for the Shed and there was a lot of interest in what we are about.
Well done to Keith, Chris, Colin, Stan, Peter and Bob who manned the stall during the day and also everyone else in the Men’s Shed team who have worked so hard to get everything ready. Thanks too to Dawn, Phil and Russell who helped out. Next stop Southwater Fete on 14th September!
